A cosy day out: Visit our shop at Fairclough Hall Farm

Visit So Cosy

Want to experience what So Cosy is all about in person? You can! We have our own super cosy shop based at Fairclough Hall Farm in Hertfordshire, and we would love for you to visit. A trip to the farm is about so much more than us though. Here’s why you should travel from near or far for this very cosy day out…

A beautiful farm setting

Need we say more! Fairclough Hall Farm is the perfect place to wind down with some retail therapy amidst some truly stunning scenery.

It’s a one-of-a-kind kind of space that offers a vibrant working community for us and a delightful place to visit for you in the trappings of a working farm with conservation at its core. This is what attracted us to open a shop here in the first place.

A mix of great food and retail

Our wonderful neighbours offer a who’s who of fantastic food, drink and crafted goods, with the farm now home to more than 20 local, regional and international brands.

While we can’t sit here and shout about what makes each and every one of these businesses extra special, we did want to shine the spotlight on just a few of our favourites.

Lollywood Café

Open from 10am to 2:30pm Monday to Saturday, Lollywood Café is one of our favourite haunts, and for good reason. With freshly made sandwiches, paninis, wraps, salads, cakes and more, you’ll be in local foodie heaven. Your furry friends are welcome too, so bring your dog along to explore and sample Lollywood’s delicious menu.

    Harriet Kelsall Jewellery

Another place where you and your doggy friend will be welcome is Harriet Kelsall. A must-see for jewellery lovers, they have studios and shops in London, Cambridge, St Albans, and right here at Fairclough Hall Farm.

Based in a stunning Tudor barn just a stone’s throw away from So Cosy HQ, Harriet Kelsall is more than just award winning. It’s a brand revered for its ethical approach, which is a passion we share. Here Harriet Kelsall explains more about why it was named Ethical Jeweller of the Year at the UK Jewellery Awards 2024:

“We were the first jeweller in the world to be both licensed to sell Fairtrade gold and audited by the Responsible Jewellery Council. We spend a lot of time and energy finding the most responsible source for our materials, whilst making sure that we never compromise on quality. If the perfect jewellery for you is one that has impeccable ethical credentials then we can make sure that we provide exactly that.”

As well as offering a range of responsible and truly stunning pieces, Harriet Kelsall provides workshops, free design consultations and the chance to see their goldsmiths in action from their beautiful studio. It’s open from 10am until 6pm Monday to Friday and 9.45am to 4pm on Saturday.

    Lavella Hair

Ideal for a pamper session, this local hairdresser offers five-star treatments, including cut, colour, extensions, styling, beauty and nails. Lavella Hair is also award winning, and gained the top spot in the East of England for Best Hair Extension Salon at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards.

A visit to the cosiest shop around

Once you’ve shopped for bespoke jewellery, treated yourself to a pamper and enjoyed a bite to eat, we’re here to welcome you to the So Cosy shop and we can’t wait to share our goodies with you so you can update your home.
