The Saucer Reclaimed small size is perfect to serve small snacks like nuts and olives and the Saucer Reclaimed medium size is perfect to serve small to medium sized snacks and sweets. Every teak item has its own natural and organic drawing, is food safe and from durable teak root wood.
All products are handcrafted from 100% natural and eco-friendly materials. They can slightly vary in size, shape and colour but are all 100% original.

The wooden kitchenware from teak root is made with simple hand tools First the big roots are sawn into the minimum size for processing a specific product. Depending on the type of product (like a bowl or spoon) the wood is carved out by hand with the traditional chisel and hammer. The smoothen and even the wood it is sanded by a simple sanding machine and if necessary touched up with sanding paper by hand. The final product is oiled by hand with a cloth. Sometimes the rough edges are deliberately unfinished to show the original material.

Suharto, the owner of the design workshop for wood craft, has a passion for everything that is made out of wood. All products they produce are hand crafted from waste teak wood (teak root). They select and source the materials themselves, to ensure the materials have the best quality and are eco sustainable. The workshop is located in a small beautiful village in East Java and creates job opportunities for the villagers and people in the surrounding the area.
Care instructions
All reclaimed teak (teak root) kitchenware is food safe. For optimal usage please follow the care instructions below.
1st time use:
Wash in warm mild soapy water, rinse and dry
Repeat for daily maintenance
Do not put in a dishwasher and do not soak!
To protect and enhance the wood, apply from time to time food safe oil with a brush or cloth. If the item gets rough or stained, refinish it with sand paper and apply food safe oil.
