Our Story
At So Cosy, we’re a company that believes in creating cosy and luxurious blankets that are also sustainable and environmentally conscious. Our journey began at a market stall in Spitalfields, where we sold our first blankets with no name and no real plan for the future. However, it quickly became apparent that our blankets were special, with people consistently remarking on their softness and warmth.
We were determined to make a real go of our hobby, so we secured a regular pitch at St. Albans market and continued to hone our craft. In 2011, after a successful weekend at the Country Living Show, we made the decision to leave our day jobs and focus entirely on our new company, which we named So Cosy Ltd.
Our passion for sustainability and the environment is something that is very important to us. We believe that it’s possible to create luxurious and high-quality products that are also eco-friendly and have minimal impact on the environment. That’s why we only use the finest alpaca, cashmere, mohair, merino, and sheep wools, which are not only soft and warm but are also sustainably sourced.
We are committed to creating long-lasting products that will stand the test of time. By investing in quality materials and skilled craftsmanship, we believe that we can create blankets that can be cherished for years to come, reducing waste and promoting sustainable living.

With a background in fashion design and pattern cutting, Rimsky possesses a remarkable sense of style when it comes to colour, texture, and fabric. Similarly, Vilija’s artistic flair enables her to envision designs that are both contemporary and classic. Together, they are able to leverage their extensive knowledge and expertise to produce stunning cushions, blankets and throws that perfectly complement any interior.
