As you may have noticed during the last couple of years of events, we’ve reinvented our So Cosy Black Friday sales with a sprinkling of community spirit.
Instead of grabbing a Black Friday purchase, we encourage our customers (both new and existing) to give back to the causes that are making a difference in the local community – and we’re doing the same this year!
We’re supporting Stevenage Community Trust
Once again, we’ll be supporting Stevenage Community Trust to mark our Give Back Friday event. It’s a local charity that has done huge things throughout Stevenage, with the donations made individually and via business-led initiatives funding incredibly important work.
Stevenage Community Trust is best known for its grants, which make life easier for disadvantaged families, charities, community groups and clubs across Stevenage and its surrounding villages. Yet their work doesn’t end there, as Stevenage Community Trust explains:
“The Trust makes a real difference to the lives of needy people in and around Stevenage; from funding a life-changing piece of equipment for a disabled child, giving community grants that will benefit groups of people of all ages, through to our emergency grant-giving programme for people suffering severe financial hardship.”
