New Year, big plans – here’s what to expect from us in the months ahead

So Cosy new year plans

Looking back on 2021, and the hardships so many people faced as the Covid-19 pandemic continued, we couldn’t be more grateful for the support of our customers. With the start of a new year comes plenty of positive vibes and another bout of exciting plans for the House of So Cosy, and we couldn’t be happier that you’ll be there on the journey with us.

Here we talk you through just some of the big plans you can expect from us in the months ahead, a sneak peek of what’s to come for So Cosy from new products and fibres to travels and events.

2022 so cosy news

We’re very busy in the studio

Here at So Cosy, we’ve been busily working away on tons of new designs for 2022. Our new products will be lovingly handcrafted, just like all our designs, with the vast majority made from the highest quality alpaca wool.

We’ll be collaborating with our makers in Peru to bring the beauty, luxury and sustainability of alpaca wool to your home and wardrobe.

Co-founder Rimsky has been particularly busy during the past few months. We’ll soon be announcing details of the six different products designed and produced by him!

So Cosy plans

So Cosy favourites with a twist

Since its launch early last year, our stunning selection of Dani throws have become a steadfast part of the So Cosy collection. For 2022, our Dani range is back, and it’s bigger and more beautiful than ever.

Whether you’re already a huge fan of these timeless, Woolmark certified, 100% New Zealand Pure New Wool designs or you’re yet to discover their sumptuousness, you can explore our best-selling collection in a range of shades, with new colours to be added for 2022.

We’re hitting the road more than ever

Our return to the many events we love to attend last year was much-anticipated by us and our loyal customer base. In 2022, we’re hitting the road more than ever to showcase our designs in person.

We’ve just confirmed that we’ll be attending this year’s RHS Malvern Spring Festival (from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th May 2022), RHS Chelsea Flower Show (from Tuesday 24th to Saturday 28th May 2022), and RHS Flower Show Tatton Park (from Wednesday 20th to Sunday 24th July 2022), and we’re already working on the sketches for our award-winning stand and display designs.

We may also be attending the RHS Garden Wisley Flower Show from Tuesday 6th to Sunday 11th September. For those of you who haven’t yet had the pleasure of visiting RHS’ flagship garden and one of the UK’s best-loved and most visited green spaces, here’s what to expect:

“Wisley is all about inspirational gardening, rather than a museum of plants and conservation. We’re constantly assessing and updating our plants and planting schemes to ensure there’s always something new to excite and inspire. In particular, visit our Mixed Borders or Glasshouse Borders during summer and you’ll be sure to get plenty of inspiration (and maybe a little envious).”

So Cosy events

So Cosy is making a comeback

After the cancellation of its 2021 event, we’re so excited to announce that we’ll be returning to Burghley Horse Trials this year, and what a comeback it will be! The world’s greatest equestrian show started planning their 2022 event in autumn last year, and organisers are promising that it will be their best yet. We can’t wait to see you there!

2022 may also be the year we return to the European events scene. We’re hoping to attend the EQUITANA World Equestrian Fair at the Exhibition Centre Essen in Germany in April and the CHIO Aachen in Germany from June to July to reunite with our customers on the continent.

We’ll also be returning to Clifton Nurseries to supply plants, whilst our Christmas fair diary is already being deliberated for later in the year.

2022 – the year of travel

It’s not just the many events that will be taking us back on the road for 2022. In our spare time, we plan to make the most of our newfound freedom by exploring the English countryside and travelling in our caravan a lot more.

Travelling always gives us new ideas on how our products can be used, and we look forward to sharing all this inspiration with you. All that’s left to say is – watch this space!
