Each and every one of these mohair wonders has been lovingly woven by Mantas Ezcaray, a long-established, family-run business that has been manufacturing scarves, shawls and blankets using handlooms and traditional processes since 1930. The introduction of mohair into their creations two decades later has taken their passion for using the finest fibres found in nature to a whole other level.
Making the most of your mohair
Known for being one of the most luxurious, natural fibres on the planet, mohair yarn is much loved for its whiteness, silky shine, and bright, long-lasting colour. Despite its thickness – our Lisos Mohair Blankets are 450gr/m2 in weight! – mohair is extremely lightweight, with its natural thermoregulating qualities offering a sumptuous feeling of warmth and comfort all year round.
Handmade from the hair of the Angora goat, our mohair blankets need special treatment to keep delivering the incredible perks they are known and loved for. They shouldn’t be washed, bleached, tumble dried or ironed as a result, and are strictly dry clean only. To maintain the fluffiness and softness of your mohair, brush with a hard clothes brush in the direction of the nap.
